Dr K Jackson 10-MAR-2024 Lectures: [Weeks 1-5 and 7-9], students choose between 2 x two hour lectures per week face-to-face, starting in Week 1; or an asynchronous online stream. Lab: [Weeks 2-5 and 7-10], 2 hour lab per week, starting in Week 2 OTH: [Weeks 2-5 and 7-10], 2 hour problems solving workshop per week, starting in Week 2 in room 112 or 114. Test in weeks 7 and 10. Collect a copy of the lab manual and OTH book from your first OTH class in Week 1.

Dr K Jackson 06-OCT-2024 PHYS1221 & PHYS1231 lectures and labs are combined. Physics theatre preferred for lectures, Keith Burrows second choice. Lecture room should have demo bench with gas taps OTH classes are not combined, in room 112. Labs should be in room 112 and are combined with PHYS1221 (total capacity 72). For labs and OTH classes, it would be preferable if they were timetabled 9-1,2-6 (i.e. preserving the 1 hour gap between 1-2 that other courses have) Maximum 72 in OTH class. PLEASE NOTE: No classes in Room 112, OMB on Mondays due to UNSW Global labs.
